I just returned from India where I met the translators of the book ‘The
Youngest Day’ into English, the Langes and they told me that the author
Hesse stated that he received this information from ‘thought vibrations’
from the Son of God who lived in India! Lange said he had put this information in the preface of the translation, but I told him he did not and he
insisted he did and so I dropped the matter and didn’t argue with him further.
The year the book was taken to Switzerland and given to Max and Gisela
was 1950, not 1954. The material is most interesting but the fact that one
of Meher Baba’s closest mandali took a copy from Berlin and made a trip
to Switzerland solely to give this book to Hafliger’s is even more interesting.
He could only have done it on Baba’s orders.

This is really interesting. I would love to hear more about what Meher Baba has said about The New Humanity and the Word.

I know many people (my parents included) expected Baba to “break his silence” before he dropped his body by verbally saying a word, that would signify this.

But, I think it makes perfect sense that he did not do it this way. It is a huge spiritual breaking of silence that happens behind the scenes and then manifests as a huge catastrophe that brings conflict to all and then a loving calm never before seen by anyone in thousands of years!!

I wonder which literature it is that Baba talks about people in strife eating bark! And if he says any more about exactly when this will happen. But, I can’t help connect the dots with 2012, although I’m sure people did the same thing with the Millenium.

Who knows!

It’s interesting to read what you’ve written Greg. I agree with it in a nutshell.
I do agree that to be very prepared is the most important thing. I think preparation means not to waste time, to become soul conscious, to let go of all fear and body consciousness, to have feelings of love and brotherhood for all souls but to let go of individual attachment to everything, people, things, nationalities, old memories, etc and to remember God with a lot of love. I do agree that we are moving from complete expansion to complete contraction, to oneness from separation. The only thing which I see differently than you do is that almost everybody is going to have to leave their body. A few will have to remain because they will be the parents of the new souls who come down. And they will leave their bodies shortly after. The new ones will receive bran new pure bodies that never get sick. Our bodies are impure which is why we get sick sometimes. I’m making my preparation in meditation for the soul to leave this body and return to the element of Brahm, and then to come down again quickly.
