Inner Vision

People who are attuned to higher vibrations can see deeper aspects of reality, aspects that most people cannot. They have what I call inner vision. Some of these people experience nothing but bliss. They see beyond the denseness of the material world, into the finer realms of the subtle.

These types of people are rare, even though most people do put a great emphasis on vision. Almost everybody gets their eyes examined. If they need glasses, they get glasses. If they have a dirty windshield on their car, they clean the windshield. If they have a dirty kitchen window, they clean it so we can have a better view.

Some people pay a lot of money to see better. If they go to a sporting event, they want seats that offer the best view. Jack Nicholson, for example, sits courtside at the Lakers’ games so he can experience the action at the fullest level possible. He wants to see the sweat dripping of the faces of the players.

And now, with the advent of wide screen plasma televisions with 1080p resolution, many people are willing to pay big bucks just so they can see more clearly and be right there, with the action.

But when it comes to inner vision, most people don’t make the efforts. They are oblivious to inner vision even as a possibility.

And even those that do suspect the existence of inner realms still don’t take the steps necessary to witness first hand the blissful reality. They just accept that it isn’t their lot in life to experience it.

They don’t have anybody to consult with who can make that inner vision a reality for them. And so, they continue to go through life the same way as they have always done – focused on the material world.

But is there anything that can be done to make inner vision a possibility?

Yes, but it’s a long process. And just like an obese person isn’t going to be able to lose 100 pounds overnight, the person longing for inner vision isn’t going to be free of the impediments obstructing that vision over night.

It’s a long journey that begins when there is a radical change in outlook on life. It’s a journey of disillusionment with what the mind has told us for so long. It’s a journey of inner realization that we are more than a physical body that is doomed to die.

Basically, it is a process of waking up from a dream created from our own false thinking. Consider what Itzhak Bentov wrote in Stalking the Wild Pendulum:

“We human beings consider ourselves to be made up of solid matter.” Actually, the physical body is the end product, so to speak, of subtle information fields, which mold our physical body as well as all physical matter. These fields are holograms which change in time (and are) outside the reach of our normal senses. This is what clairvoyants perceive as colorful egg-shaped halos or auras surrounding our physical bodies.”

The inner worlds of illumination and transcendence are within us. But they are not revealed or manifested to us because our focus – the laser beam of our consciousness – is pointed elsewhere. When we change the focus we change the picture. And when we change our thoughts we change our world.

For instance, a UCLA researcher, Valerie Hunt, has focused much research on the human energy field. She confirmed the fact that people who have as their main focus the material world have a frequency to their energy field that is not far from the body’s biological frequencies of 250 cycles per second (cps).

But those people with healing ability, or physic ability, typically have frequencies in their energy fields of 400-800 cps. These are people attuned to higher vibrations.

She states that people who have frequencies above 900 cps are mystical personalities. She differentiates between psychics and mystics by describing psychics as conduits of information, but that mystics possess the wisdom to know what to do with the information.

In other words, according to her research, if you want to possess wisdom, you need to raise your energy field above 900 cps.

The focus and attachments to the outer create veils over inner vision. The focus and attachment of the material world keep our vibration down at the 250 cps level. This reduces our awareness and perception of the inner. And when we don’t see the inner at all, we conclude that it doesn’t even exist. It’s like we are living in a black hole, where everything becomes very heavy and dark.

This understandably creates a sense of despair which in turn causes us to hold on with even more desperation to outer form. No wonder there is such a sense of unease in the world.

This uneasy discontent eventually leads to the disillusionment that ultimately changes our focus off the outer and onto the inner.

This is the law of attraction at its most sublime. We become what we think about, first and primarily on the vibrational level.

If you want to see the inner worlds and their splendor of higher frequency and vibration, then there is only one prescription to follow: Become that vibration.

How do we become a higher vibration? By focusing on the higher aspects of life – on  love, service, compassion, humility, harmony, peace. Avoid the low and abide by the high. David Hawkins writes about this in Power vs. Force in easy to understand language.

Do what the mystics do — focus on the Divine Presence within. It will reveal itself more and more as your consciousness turns from the lower vibrations to the higher. That is inner vision at its highest.
