I am still feeling the reverberations from reading Zero Limits. I can’t get it out of my head, and that is a good thing. For the message of the book is one of love and peace. The book details a method of getting to the Zero State, a state of consciousness that is free of the memories and mental impressions of past experience.
If you read the book you’ll likely see the importance of a continuous striving to get to the Zero State. In the book the method is called “cleaning” and this cleaning is a cleaning of the mind. It is a cleaning by connecting to Divinity. The method used by Dr. Ihaleakal Hew Len in the book is an entreaty to Divinity, saying “I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.” The effect of this cleaning is the dissolving of the obstructions of consciousness. This cleaning away of obstructions in in the mind clears the way for inspiration to flow.
What struck me was Dr. Len stating that there are only ever two choices: to cleanse or not to cleanse. When we choose not to cleanse, we run on auto-pilot, following the programs that define our false lives. Eckhart Tolle speaks to this in The Power of Now and A New Earth as having no free will. That is, without consciousness guiding your life, the mind runs your life, but through reactions and unconscious habits. I have referred to that type of life as sleepwalking through life.
On the other hand, when we clean, inspiration is allowed to flow into our lives. Here is what Dr. Len says about that:
If you are clear, then when inspiration comes, you just act. You don’t think about it. If you think about it, then you are comparing the inspiration to something, and what you are comparing it to is a memory. Clean the memory and you don’t have choice. You just have inspiration and you act on it without thinking. It just is.
That is a beautiful and spontaneous way of living. Love and creativity just radiate from the inspired person, effortlessly. Being in the presence of someone in this state of consciousness is an uplifting experience.
Joe Vitale, the author of Zero Limits, said this insight of Dr. Len truly shook him. It shakes me too even though I see the truth of the statement as self-evident. When inspiration comes to me when I’m playing my sax, I don’t think about it. I play the notes. It’s an allowing of the inspiration to flow through me. When I’m writing, I write the words. If I’m walking in nature, like I was today, I just feel the bliss and say thank you.
The cleaning process explained in the book has the purpose of raising the vibrational level. That is the purpose of any mystical practice. The higher the vibration, the closer we are to the divine. The lower the vibration, the more density we have, the more stuck in place we are. We become like rocks. Not much happens in the stone-state of consciousness.
The higher your vibration, the more the inspiration flows. You no longer live life just going through the motions of your programming. You become a vehicle for the expression of consciousness. This is truly a life of abundance.
The true state that Zero Limits points to is the state of Nirvana, the void, a state of consciousness described by The Buddha that is beyond the limits of the mind, a vacuum state, where neither consciousness nor unconsciousness exists. But this void, once attained, is immediately filled by pure consciousness – infinite power, knowledge and bliss. This is the state of Self-Realization.
This is the state from where divinity flows. This is a rarefied state of being that very few souls on earth at any given time fully and consciously possess, but this is the only state that is truly the state of zero limits.
But even if it’s not in our destiny to fully reach the state of zero limits or God-realization in this lifetime, we can at least reach states of fewer and fewer limits, states of higher and higher inspiration, states of deeper and deeper perception.
The inspiration that flows from that highest state of zero limits, or Divinity, or Infinite Consciousness, is not only the goal, but it is a path to the goal. That is, if we follow the light to its source, we eventually become transmuted into light itself, like the moth that is consumed in the candle flame. As Saint Theresa of Avila used to say, “All the way to Heaven is Heaven.” I take that to mean that all the way to heaven we have the presence of Light, of Divinity, of the Highest of the High.
This is the mystical path of the false-self dying and of the real self becoming a reality. What brings the false self to its death is the realization that the false is false. That is an act of consciousness — an act of perception. And the true self, the source of being, becomes increasingly unveiled with each vestige of the false that drops away. That is the ultimate result of the cleaning that Ihaleakala Hew Len does. That is also the result of any mystical path. That is the path of love. It annihilates the false and reveals the truth. And the Truth has no limits. According to Dr. Len, if you are experiencing limitations in your life, then you have cleaning to do.
Dr. Len says in Zero Limits, we have two choices. Either stay stuck in memories and mental programming or start cleaning. What could be a higher purpose in living than getting beyond the memories and mental programs that run our lives? I think it’s an easy choice to make.

Thanks for adding me to your blog roll. I just noticed it on Technorati.
Your site looks great by the way! I love the new look.
In a sense, when looking at the journey to our real self, the choice is also the classic to be or not to be. That is, will we become real, or stay an illusion.
Thanks for the thoughts you shared.
Hi Priscilla,
You’re welcome. And thanks for the kind words about the new look. It’s been a lot of work getting this ready. And there is still a lot of work to do. I’m getting some great professional help from a friend in California. We will be unveiling more features next week.
You’re Personal Development Master List has helped my Technorati ranking quite a bit. Thanks.
Hi
Dr Joe Vitale did the Foreword to my book “The Titus Concept Money For My Best and Highest Good” and Dr Hew Len also endorsed it.
They are both simply great individuals!
With Joe Vitale’s talents and Dr Len’s insights their new book “Zero Limits” is an amazing book!!
