Personal Development Resources

I’m always looking for new personal development resources and I just came across a couple good ones. Jarle Husefest is putting out some great content and resources like free ebooks and generating some serious traffic. Do yourself a favor and check out his site. I have really enjoyed reading his free download of The Master Key.

There is great wisdom in that book. Other sites sell it, but he gives it away. This is a book that inspired Napoleon Hill to success, a book that was banned by the Church, and that has been out of print until recently. In 2001 a rumor started that it was this very book that inspired Bill Gates to drop out of Harvard to pursue his vision of Microsoft. Whether that is true or not, I don’t know, but I do know that If I had read it while I was in college, I would have dropped out. There is nothing like solid confirmation that we live in an abundant universe. You’ll find his site, personaldevelopmentbooks.net/Blog, to be well worth subscribing to via his RSS feed.

Another resource I found on his blog was information about a new social bookmarking site called personal development partners. I joined this site today and I urge you to as well. There is nothing like hanging out with people who are committed to personal development to keep you pointed in the same direction. The people there are inspirational, friendly, professional and dedicated to excellence.

You can easily see by the members’ profiles who is available for assistance and in what area. A lot of these members are personal development bloggers which means that there is valuable and helpful information available. It’s also a great way to make friends with like minded people.

One of the first thing I read on the home page of Personal Development Partners was this: “Personal Development Partners is the first social networking site that is ONLY for people who are working to make their lives better and more enjoyable!” You can’t go wrong with that.

I’m a brand new member, but I foresee great things coming from this. How could it not be a positive force with a membership dedicated to being the best they can be? Whether you are looking for opportunities in networking, socializing, goal setting, blogging or just keeping your head on straight, you will find that the time you spend there well spent. If you are like me and are always looking for personal development resources, then you will be very satisfied.

If you have any questions on any aspect of this, I will be happy to answer them for you. See you there.
