Saying yes to life can make such a difference in its unfoldment. For instance, I am swimming in abundance this week. After a less than desirable start to the week with someone stealing over $3,000 from our checking account, things quickly turned around. After accepting the fact that it happened, I took the necessary steps to get the money back. Everything worked out perfectly. My bank reimbursed the amount that was stolen within 24 hours. Then we received a letter in the mail about an inheritance that was twice the amount we expected. I received a call from a success coach on the West Coast who is volunteering to help me build the traffic on this site to the top 1/10 of the top one percent of all sites within the next year. And then I found out that an investment that we made is poised to make a gigantic return on our money.
Anything else? Yes, web traffic is up, conversion rates are up, my new computer is running great, and the weather is beautiful. And I’m really enjoying our remodeled kitchen that was finished last week. Life is good.
I am making a concerted effort to say yes to life and that is turning the key, opening up new opportunities, and keeping the positive energy flowing. Last Sunday I really enjoyed playing saxophone with a band I never played with before. That was a stretch for me because I had to drive 3 ½ hours to get there, but it was fun. And I met a trumpet player that I really enjoyed playing with, and maybe more music work will come of it. And all that happened simply by saying yes.
Why not say yes? It seems to me that the universe isn’t going to present opportunities to someone who has the habit of saying no.That’s resistance, and a by-product of the mind that want’s to be in control.
Saying yes to life is also good for relationships. For example, when my wife asks if I want to take a walk, or go somewhere, or eat something different for dinner, and I say yes, it makes for a happy communication.
Everything that was ever accomplished in the world was accomplished by someone saying yes. It’s the key to the unfoldment of life. Try it for a day and see what happens. Your day will turn into an adventure of acceptance and living in the present moment. And that, I dare say, will lead to abundance. At the very least, it will lead to an abundance of passion, spirit and open-heartedness. And that is priceless. Saying yes to life is also the path to living holistically — connected to the source of being. Yes!
